The Dirrty singer Christina Aguilera has hired designer Roberto Cavalli to create her costumes for her Back To Basics world tour.

Cavalli, who is known for his funky and loud costumes, is set to exclusively design the elaborate outfits based on the ‘circus’ theme for the tour of Aguilera.

The fashion designer has already created 10 costumes for Aguilera, and is now busy creating looks for her dancers.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that many of Aguilera’s costumes are based on a Forties-style white stretch satin tuxedo, bordered with golden pearls and topped with a white fox stole.

However, the costumes that are also inspired by the Fifties era and include satin silk bustier and printed, gold-leaf and crystal-adorned silk taffeta skirt.

Additionally, the Sixties-inspired costumes consist of embroidered all over dresss and a tailored jacket with embroidered tails to be paired with a red-and-black Swarovski-adorned bustier.

Christina will kick start her world tour in the U.S. in February.
