Christina Plans to balance work and motherhood

Pop singer Christina Aguilera is determined to balance her successful singing career with motherhood in the future.

The “Dirrty” singer married management company executive Jordan Bratman last November (05), but insists she just wants to enjoy being a wife before she starts a family. Unlike chart rival Britney Spears, who has put her career on hold while she brings up baby Sean Preston and her upcoming second child, due in October (06), Aguilera believes she will be able to balance her music with a family. “Having my career and a baby will be a challenge, but I want to try and do it all,” she was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying. “I wanna be a mother without losing myself in the process,” she added.

Speaking about Britney Spears in a recent interview with Newsweek Aguilera claimed there was never a feud between the two. “We were like best friends, but the media saw a navel and blond hair and had to create some drama,” she said.
