Christina Aguilera received a ring from boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, but not an engagement ring

Although Christina Aguilera’s new boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, did give the Burlesque star a ring for her birthday, it is reported that it is not an engagement ring.

A source tells that Rutler “gave [a ring] to her for her birthday,” but “It’s not an engagement ring and they’re not engaged. It was a surprise gift from him.”

The couple is seemingly getting more serious by the day. They have both met each other’s families, and Aguilera has even let her son Max meet her new beau.

The trio reportedly spent the day at the Peterson Automotive Museum in L.A. “Christina took Max on the fun outing so he could bond with Matt,” says a source. “Max was initially a bit shy, but later warmed up to Matt. It seems very important to Christina that Max got along with Matt.”
